Built from a 'Protestant Romanesque' design by Burcham, Clamp, and Finch in 1925, this is quite an eye catching steeple from anywhere you can see through the trees of the park over the road.
The steeple sits atop the brown brick campanile / Bell Tower of what is now the Uniting Church (since 1977). There is a metal spike sticking out of the eight-sided metal clad dome that sits on the short spire surrounded campanile. There are 'sundry' plants growing out of the brick and metal work of the spire and tower.
[The Foundation Stone is from 6th December 1924; with the pipe organ for the church being bought from another church that had closed in 1920, and installed here in 1925.]
