The site of a former fire station in Teynham, now houses the local library. The station was certainly active between 1962 and 1967 and replaced a timber lock-up garage (demolished) behind The George PH (in use from around 1925) transferred to Kent FS in 1948. The new and current Fire Station is located on Station Road, Teynham, and has been in use since 1966.
