Die Verbandsgemeinde Pellenz intensiviert ihre Aktivitäten zum weiteren Ausbau der Ladeinfrastruktur für Elektroautos gemeinsam mit dem Energieunternehmen innogy in der Region weiter. Das Unternehmen hat eine öffentliche Ladesäule für Elektroautos und zwei E-Bike-Ladesäulen im Rahmen des firmeneigenen Förderprogrammes bereitgestellt. Die neuen „Strom-Tankstellen“ stehen vor dem neuen Verwaltungsgebäude in der Rathausstraße 2-4 in Plaidt. Klaus Bell, Bürgermeister der Verbandsgemeinde Pellenz, nahm die neuen Ladestationen heute gemeinsam mit Kommunalbetreuer Michael Dötsch von innogy offiziell in Betrieb.

Mit einem Ladekabel betankte die Gruppe symbolisch ein Elektroauto aus der Flotte von innogy und unternahm anschließend eine Elektro-Probefahrt. An den Säulen können Elektroautos umweltfreundlich erzeugten Ökostrom tanken. „Elektromobilität ist ein Zukunftsthema, das wir auch in der Verbandsgemeinde Pellenz und in der gesamten Region weiter vorantreiben wollen“, sagte Klaus Bell beim Pressetermin und ergänzte: „Die öffentlichen Ladestationen sind die Grundlage für eine flächendeckende Einführung von Elektroautos und eine wichtige Entscheidungshilfe für potenzielle Käufer. Deswegen bieten wir auch im Bereich der Infrastruktur gerne weitere Angebote für die Fahrer von Elektroautos und unterstützen den nachhaltigen Einsatz von Ressourcen. Wir möchten ein klares Signal in die Zukunftstechnologie setzen und ich bin froh darüber, dass innogy als unser regionaler Partner diesen Weg mitgehen will.“

Michael Dötsch, Leiter der Region Rauschermühle bei innogy, erklärte: „Mit unserem Engagement im Bereich Elektromobilität leisten wir einen Beitrag zum Umwelt- und Klimaschutz. Wir setzen uns für den Wandel zu dieser umweltschonenden Technik ein, ohne die der alltägliche Betrieb von Elektroautos nicht möglich ist.“

The municipality of Pellenz is intensifying its activities to further expand the charging infrastructure for electric cars together with the energy company innogy in the region. The company has provided a public charging station for electric cars and two e-bike charging stations as part of the company's own support programme. The new "electricity filling stations" are located in front of the new administration building in Rathausstraße 2-4 in Plaidt. Klaus Bell, Mayor of the Pellenz Association, officially commissioned the new charging stations today together with Michael Dötsch, municipal supervisor at innogy.

The group symbolically refuelled an electric car from the innogy fleet with a charging cable and then undertook an electric test drive. Electric cars can fill up on green electricity generated in an environmentally friendly way at the pillars. "Electromobility is a topic for the future that we also want to push forward in the Pellenz association and in the entire region," said Klaus Bell at the press conference and added: "The public charging stations are the basis for the nationwide introduction of electric cars and an important decision-making aid for potential buyers. That's why we're happy to offer drivers of electric cars additional services in the area of infrastructure and support the sustainable use of resources. We would like to send a clear signal to the future technology and I am glad that innogy, as our regional partner, wants to follow this path".

Michael Dötsch, head of the Rauschermühle region at innogy, explained: "With our commitment to electromobility, we are making a contribution to environmental and climate protection. We are committed to the change to this environmentally friendly technology, without which the everyday operation of electric cars would not be possible."
