The present St. Martini church was built in the years 1700 to 1702, after the old - at least partially - collapsed.
The church stands slightly elevated on a circular area and is surrounded by a hedge. Around the church was the old cemetery, where today old gravestones on a lawn remember.
The new cemetery, still in use today, is about 100 meters to the northwest.
