Die Stadtpuppenbühne Öcher Schängche ist ein von der Stadt Aachen gefördertes Puppentheater. Der Spielplan beinhaltet sowohl Stücke für Kinder als auch für Erwachsene. Die meisten Stücke werden nicht auf hochdeutsch sondern im Aachener Dialekt, dem "Öcher Platt" gesprochen - daher auch der Name "Öcher Schängche".

An der Fassade des Gebäudes befinden sich zwei einzigartige Geschäftsschilder: Eins an der Straßenseite des Gebäudes und eins am Eingang zum Theater. Sie sind beide sehr ähnlich gestaltet und zeigen drei typische Puppen aus den Theaterstücken. Man sieht die Stäbe, mit denen die Puppenspieler die Arme der Puppen bewegen. Gefertigt sind sie aus bemaltem Metall. Um die Figuren herum sind gußeiserne, verschnörkelte Ornamente sowie ein Schild mit dem Namen des Theaters.

Das Theater befindet sich im Kulturhaus Barockfabrik, einer ehemaligen Tuchfabrik, die von der Stadt Aachen zu einem Kulturzentrum umgebaut worden ist. Neben der Puppenbühne sind noch sechs weitere Vereine und Einrichtungen im Gebäude angesiedelt, die sich der kulturellen Vielfalt, Kooperation und Bildung sowie der Kinder- und Jugendförderung widmen. Zur Stärkung gibt es ein Café mit Außengastronomie.
The Stadtpuppenbühne Öcher Schängche is a puppet theater promoted by the city of Aachen. The schedule includes both children's and adult's plays. Most of the plays are not spoken in standard German but in the Aachen dialect, the "Öcher Platt" - hence the name "Öcher Schängche".

On the facade of the building are two unique business signs: one on the street side of the building and one at the entrance to the theater. They are both very similar and show three typical puppets from the plays. You can see the sticks with which the puppeteers move the arms of the dolls. They are made of painted metal. Around the figures are cast-iron ornaments and a sign with the name of the theater.

The theater is located in the Kulturhaus Barockfabrik, a former cloth factory converted by the city of Aachen into a cultural center. In addition to the puppet theater, there are six other associations and institutions in the building dedicated to cultural diversity, cooperation and education, and to promoting children and youth. To refuel your energy, there is a café with outdoor catering.
