Wetaskiwin Memorial Cemetery is also known as Memorial Cemetery with approximately 2,737 known interments.

Wetaskiwin's Memorial Cemetery was started in the late 1960s, and is funded jointly by the City and County of Wetaskiwin.

This cemetery is more traditional than newer cemeteries with most of the grave markers neatly placed in rows and divided into sections. The headstones are mostly flush to the ground or are smaller than those in the other, older cemetery.

There are many very large trees and it is fenced around the perimeter. There is a Veterans' section with a cairn dedicated to those who served in the Canadian Armed Services. The grave markers are flush and slightly raised above the ground. The Canadian flag waves proudly nearby.
