This headstone is for Henry Pengilly, accidentally killed in 1898.

The headstone is within a low wrought iron railing enclosure, in the St Anne's Anglican Churchyard Cemetery - (visit link) . It is white marble, with beautiful detailing over it.

The inscription is succinct:

"In Loving Memory Of
HENRY PENGILLY
who was accidentally Killed
October 13, 1898
Aged 55 years"

From further research, Henry was born ~1843, and married Jane (Jeannie) Greenlees on 13 July, 1871, in Aldinga, SA. They had two children, Jane and John (1873, and 1875) that grew to adulthood, and the headstone also mentions Grace Jane, who died on May 13, 1872, aged 31 days. (visit link)
