This memorial headstone includes a mention for Alan McRae, who was mentioned as lost on the Titanic maiden voyage / sinking in 1912.

As the heading on the maroon coloured, polished granite headstone states: "We Shall Meet On That Beautiful Shore", with the family name "McRae" below that.

Below the name of the parents, Mary Janet (1855-1891, and Colin McRae (1851-1923) are the seven children listed, with the third one showing:

"Alan 1889 - 1912. (Missing S.S. Titanic)"

BTW: There is a society for residents of South Australia who were aboard the S.S. Titanic, which sank on 14 April, 1912. An article from one of the researchers does cast some question about the veracity of this headstone, as there is a recorded Arthur McRae from South Australia, but with different parents, that is recorded as being on the Titanic, whereas there was no recorded Alan McRae.
