From the Volusia County sports website:

The Gemini Springs Blueway follows DeBary Creek (or Bayou) from the county park to Lake Monroe. The put-in for this paddling trail is at a fishing dock below the twin springs. From there the slow-moving creek flows about 2.5 miles down to the lake, with a shorter upstream loop through the area's marshlands.

Put in at a clearing at the fishing pier after a short portage from the parking area.

Parking/put-in/launching information:
188 parking spaces with 12 close to the put in. No room for vehicles with trailers.

Stream to a lake


Difficulty of the trip:
Medium proficiency to navigate winding stream.


Length of trip: 2.5 miles to the lake

Portages:
Short distance from the parking area, perhaps 150 feet.

Shuttle or paddle back. Take out at the Deltona Boat Ramp.
