Obecní symboly (znak a vlajka) byly obci Velké Prítocno udeleny Poslaneckou snemovnou CR rozhodnutím c.13 ze dne 24. února 2011.
Znak obce tvorí vlnitým brevnem delený štít, nahore v cerveném poli stríbrný, zlate kovaný pluh, dole v modrém poli stríbrná ovce se zlatými kopýtky.
Popis symboliky: Zpola vlnité brevno je narážkou na jméno obce. Horní pole symbolizuje prevážne zemedelský charakter obce v celé její historii. Dolní pole pripomíná, že po Tricetileté válce (1618–1648), kdy celé široké okolí bylo vypleneno a vypáleno ruznými procházejícími armádami, byl zdejší ovcín jediným stavením, které z obce zustalo.

The municipal symbols (emblem and flag) were issued to the village of Velké Prítocno by the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic by Resolution No. 13 of 24 February 2011.
The emblem of the village forms a shield, which is divided in the central part by a corrugated beam. At the top, a silver plow with a golden fitting is placed in the red field. At the bottom, in the blue field, there is a silver sheep with golden hooves.
Description of symbolism: The corrugated beam is an allusion of the village name. The upper field symbolizes the predominantly agricultural character of the village throughout its history. The lower field reminds that after the Thirty Years War (1618-1648), when the entire area was plundered and burned by various passing armies, the sheep's stable was the only building that remained in the village.
