The plastered brick wayside shrine of pillar type is located at the rural road about 1.3 km south-easterly from center of the village Dolní Dunajovice and just about 200 meters westwardly from busy European route E461 from Brno to Mikulov. This wayside shrine comes from 2nd half of the 18th century. The wayside shrine is roofed with red shingles and at the top of the roof is the typical elements of these buildings, a small cross. In this case, it is a three-armed, so-called Papal cross, which in this case means that the owner of the estate was under papal protection.
Material: plastered bricks, shingles
