EN: The church Saint-Veran with its cemetery stands on a hill sourrounded by wineyards east of the village. The cemetery zone is north and west of the church, most of the terrain is uneven. The cemetery contains about hundred graves today, maybe two thirds of the area is yet unused.
The history of the church and thus most probably also the cemetery dates back to the Middle Ages, but there is very little documented. What we know is that the church was rebuilt in 1701-02.
FR: L'église Saint-Veran avec son cimetière se dresse sur une colline entourée de vignobles à l'est du village. La zone du cimetière est au nord et à l’ouest de l’église, la plus grande partie du terrain est inégale. Le cimetière contient une centaine de tombes aujourd'hui, les deux tiers de la zone sont encore inutilisés.
L'histoire de l'église et probablement aussi du cimetière remonte au Moyen Age, mais il y a très peu de documentation. Ce que nous savons, c'est que l'église a été reconstruite en 1701-02.
