From the church website:-
"There has been a church on the site since 1269 and following a fire the present church built in 1830. The parish became part of a united benefice with St Cassian’s Chaddesley Corbett and now, more recently, a member of the new 5-church parish of Kidderminster East."

The cross appears to predate the current church. After the end of World War I a plaque was attached to commemorate those who lost their lives in that war.
