Right beside the Highway, and opposite the local volunteer Fire Brigade, is a Homemade Themed Letterbox, in the shape of a typical rural fire engine/pumper.
It is made from shaped rectangular 'checker plate'; probably aluminum. It is of quite a decent size, with the opening towards the main street. I am uncertain as to how the shaped side plates are held to the base and the front and rear pieces.
