We are proud to have served the local community in and around Wolverhampton, establishing a reputation for quality funeral services, for over 160 years.
Our business was founded by George Jennings, a woodworker and craftsman on Union Mill Street. Undertaking his first funeral in 1848 to help a close friend, this was presumably a great success because in 1848 George and his wife Sarah set up in business as undertakers. They called themselves George Jennings General Undertaker and ran the business from their Union Mill Street premises. George and his wife Sarah continued to build upon their high levels of personal service, with their son Frederick joining them in 1875.
