This zinc obelisk is about standard, with funeral draping around the top and floral detail throughout. Note the rose wreath that wraps around the center of the monument. On the front plinth is the family name, "Marshall", along with an epitaph:

A precious one from us has gone,
A voice we loved is stilled,
A place made vacant in our home,
Can never more be filled.

The main panel reads:

Died Feb. 14, 1911,
