Market Square - Old Noarlunga, SA, Australia - Municipal Parks and Plazas on Waymarking.com

After I had finished with the four-day Theatre Nurses Conference in Adelaide I still had some time before needing to back at work so I had come to Old Noarlunga to find one of the few Waymarks in this corner of the suburbs. That waymark had been washed in a local flood, as I found out while walking around late at night, but noticed quite a few potential waymarks, so stayed around til the next morning.

There are a couple of covered picnic tales, a covered electric BBQ, and also an open-air fire place suitable for barbecuing. Near the Onkaparinga River is an old Fountain with a sculpture, but the plaque that had been placed there was missing. Nearby is a great playground for the children, and at the back of the Noarlunga Institute is the well-maintained toilet block. There is plenty of parking on the grass verge, as the park is surround on three side by local streets.
