On June 21, 1880, the borough of Doylestown purchased property which contained several springs. In time, a reservoir was built on this land. Fast forward 119 years and the reservoir is overgrown and covered with vegetation. As an Eagle Scout project, Brian Janson led the effort to clean up the area and added a new door and bridge to the springhouse, creating a very pretty setting for this old reservoir.
