Reasonably well maintained, it was obvious, that as the City of Onkaparinga website, for the Market Square park states: "The fountain attracts many birds and local wildlife, who use it as a ‘watering hole’ during the dry summer season." (

It overlooks the northwestern part of the bend of the Onkaparinga River, that almost completely circles the historic establishment of Old Noarlunga. There are plenty of picnic facilities here to enjoy.
