At the intersection of Beach and Morton Roads, almost directly opposite the Noarlunga Shopping Centre is the Greek Orthodox Church, of the Parish of St Andrew. While the property is surround by a 6 foot high metal fence, the Church is very visible to all passers-by. There is off-street parking when services are being held, with access from Morton Road.

On the right-hand side of the Morton Road facing wall, is the Foundation Stone. The top half is in GREEK [which 'is Greek to me'], with the bottom of the inscription being in English, which reads:

[Greek version] _______________ The Foundation Stone of this Holy Church in Honour and Memory of St. Andrew the Apostle and Protoclete was Blessed by His Eminence Archbishop Stylianos Primate of the Greek Orthodox Church in Australia on 7th December 1986.

The first Church service was on the 25th of October 1987, being blessed and dedicated the following month. [ex-Church website]
