The small chapel stands on the mountain ridge Seeligen 700m west of the district Kirchsahr at an altitude of approx. 380 m above sea level. Behind the restored oak gate, a small, bright chapel room opens up to the visitor.
The restoration and care of the chapel is being carried out by a private initiative of citizens of the local community of Kirchsahr.
The St. Expedidus Chapel is dedicated to St. Expeditus († 303). April 19 is the Catholic day of remembrance for this saint.
