Naucná stezka zacíná a koncí u tramvajové zastávky „Cerná louka“. Turistický ukazatel žluté znacky odkazuje na dva smery – k ZOO pres Slezskoostravský hrad kolem zastavení, nebo k ZOO pres Most Miloše Sýkory.
Každá trasa merí približne 3,5 km, celkem je možné absolvovat okružní vycházku 7 km dlouhou.
Naucné stezka Vás provede historií i soucasností cásti Slezské a cásti Moravské Ostravy. Je znacena žlutou turistickou znackou. Symbolem naucné stezky je hornický kahan, který je neodmyslitelne spjat s hornickou historií Ostravy a který mužete spatrit na mnoha místech mesta.

The nature trail starts and ends at the "Cerná louka" tram stop. The tourist sign of the yellow mark refers to two directions - to the ZOO via the Silesian Ostrava castle around the stop, or to the ZOO via the Bridge of Miloš Sýkora.
Each trail is approximately 3.5 km long, with a 7-km sightseeing tour.
The educational trail will guide you through the history and the present part of Silesian part and part of Moravian Ostrava. It is marked with a yellow tourist sign. The symbol of the educational trail is the mining kahan, which is inherently connected with the mining history of Ostrava and can be seen in many places of the city.
