The hut "Eifelblick" above Altenahr, situated at an altitude of 311 metres above sea level, belongs to the Eifelverein Altenahr e. V. .
The open cabin is designed for 35 people and has a barbecue and two dry toilets. A water connection is not available. There has been an on-site power generator since 2013. The rental price is 30 Euro.
The hut was built in 1969 by the Eifelverein Altenahr e. V. and inaugurated the following year. The outside area was later enlarged and expanded several times.
On the site there are numerous sitting and resting places for hikers.
