"St Peter's stands on the highest point in the village of Knossington. It dates from the 13th Century and the greater part is of the Early Decorated style. It comprises a small chancel, clerestoried nave (described as 'rich specimens of the Late Decorated Period'), a porch and a tower with two bells and a clock. Originally there was a steeple, but this disappeared sometime in the late 19th Century. In 1883 the church was extensively restored by the owner of The Grange, when the vestry was added together with an organ chamber and several stained glass windows."
