Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency commemorated its 250th anniversary plaque by placing a bronze plaque at the base of a flagpole on the Grand Parade in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The bronze plaque contains the emblem of the Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency and the image of the Victoria N. 1 steam fire engine. The plaque is inscribed:
