Die Königs-Alm, die im Sommer 2009 errichtet worden ist und direkt beim Sensenstein liegt, ist ein schönes Aussflugsziel in Nordhessen. Die im bayrischen Stil errichteten Hütten bieten bayrische und lokale Spezialitäten in einer rustikalen Hüttenatmosphäre. Im Sommer kann man im Biergarten sitzen und dabei den herrlichen Blick über Nieste und den Kaufunger Wald geniessen. Für Kinder gibt es einen extra Abenteuerspielplatz und rundherum sind viele Wanderwege z.B. zum Niester Riesen. Die Einrichtung ist urig bayrisch und man kann das essen in gemütlicher Runde zu sich nehmen.

The Königs Alm, which was built in the summer of 2009 and is located directly at the Sensenstein, is a beautiful destination in northern Hesse. The Bavarian-style huts offer Bavarian and local specialties in a rustic cabin atmosphere. In summer you can sit in the beer garden and enjoy the magnificent view over Nieste and the Kaufunger forest. For children there is an extra adventure playground and all around are many hiking trails, for example to the nester giants. The decor is quaint Bavarian and you can eat in a cozy atmosphere.
