"The Pine Street School, built in 1922, is a simple Mediterranean Revival stucco building with strong Romanesque and Renaissance Bevival elements. The build- ing's two-story horizontal facade, flanked by assymmetrical protruding wings, terminates in a low hipped tile roof. A simple panelled cornice frieze, re- peated in the central facade, and narrow round-arched windows and doorways add Renaissance detailing to an otherwise plain exterior." (
