"A piece of local architectural history has found a new home at the Klamath County Museum.

On Saturday morning, a section of the Balsiger building was placed outside the museum to commemorate one of Klamath Falls’ most iconic landmarks.

The Egyptian-themed facade was salvaged from the wreckage of the building, which was demolished due to structural concerns in May.

Niles Reynolds, museum curator, said they were fortunate to save at least part of the building, as the museum is not always able to preserve as many architectural artifacts as they would like." (visit link)
