"The Favell Museum of Western Art and Indian Artifacts, an internationally recognized treasure trove of Western Americana, is undergoing a change in ownership but will remain in Klamath Falls.

The museum closed for the winter Saturday. When it reopens next spring it will be minus some of its collection and under new management. Its future had been in doubt since its creator and curator, Gene Favell, died in July 2001.

Winifred Favell Hood, his widow, assumed administrative oversight of the museum after his death." (visit link)
