Crest Park to get major upgrade - News Article Locations on Waymarking.com

"It’s still in the early stages, but by September 2016, Crest Park in Klamath Falls is expected to have a new look thanks, in part, to a grant awarded by the state of Oregon.

Oregon Parks and Recreation Local Government Grant Program, which is funded by Oregon Lottery, has committed to a grant of up to $112,708 for extensive renovations to Crest Park, the second most used park in the Wiard Memorial Park District. The park district will match up to $90,000 of the overall estimated $200,000 project, according to park district officials.

The plan is to transform the park from a look that’s been described as a “prison yard” to one more conducive to a “playground.”" (visit link)
