Benchmark 71A060 - Wetaskiwin, AB - Canadian Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

...which it happened to be when we visited. The civic centre/arena was built in two stages. 71A060 was monumented in 1971, between the construction of the two sections and therefore is at the west end (in the southwest corner) of the older section. The newer section extends southward from the older section, meaning that 71A060 is at an inside corner on the south side of the building. It happens to be beside a gas meter, as well. Very near the ground, 71A060 has been painted the same colour as the wall, making it a bit more difficult to spot.
