"Public Boat Ramp: Concrete, well maintained, extra wide,
for multiple boat launches at a time.
Current: Moderate. Ramp is perpendicular to the current.
Docking: Two courtesy docks available for temporary boat parking and passenger loading. No overnight or long term docking.
Parking: Free vehicle with trailer parking available, 40+ extended spaces on paved lower lot, with additional parking on gravel lot to East. Also ample single spaces for car parking on all lots.
Fueling: On-site fueling available, but BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Call ahead of time 636-399-0783. Gas station within walking distance at Elm and 5th Street. Walk to train station at Elm St. and 5 blocks up the hill.
"General Comments: This is typically a very busy boat ramp, for boaters as well as spectators, especially on the weekends during warm weather. When river levels are low enough, two large sandbars are exposed: Labadie Sandbar to the east of Washington and Dundee Sandbar to the west. Both are a big attraction for boaters who want a place on the river to relax and have fun." ~ The Big Muddy
