EN: This old transformer substation is located at a steep side road just outside the hamlet Montet on the hill south of Cudrefin.

The tower has three floors without windows, but ventilation openings at the top and the bottom. It has a nice mansard roof and an arched frieze around the center.

The station was probably built before 1940. I am not sure if it is still operational. It has some overhead lines, but on the other hand the operator sign has been removed. The emergency phone numbers on the front door are only in German although this is a French speaking region.

FR: Cet ancien poste de transformation est situé sur une route latérale raide juste à l'extérieur du hameau de Montet, sur la colline au sud de Cudrefin.

La tour a trois étages sans fenêtres, mais des ouvertures de ventilation en haut et en bas. Il a un beau toit mansardé et une frise arquée autour du centre.

La station a probablement été construite avant 1940. Je ne sais pas si elle est toujours opérationnelle. Il a des lignes aériennes, mais le panneau opérateur a été supprimé. Les numéros de téléphone d'urgence sur la porte d'entrée ne sont qu'en allemand, bien qu'il s'agisse d'une région francophone.
