[GER] Das Museum wurde im Jahr 1907 vom damals gegründeten "Verein für Heimatkunde in Wilhelmsburg" ins Leben gerufen. Seit mehr als 50 Jahren ist das Museum in den Räumen des alten Amtshauses untergebracht.

Aus nachfolgende Theme sind Exponate und Ausstellungen zu besichtigen:
Milchwirtschaft, Ackerbau und Gemüseanbau als Haupterwerbsquellen der ländlichen Bevölkerung, eine vollständig eingerichtete Bauernstube mit Trachten, eine alte Küche und Waschküche und der Burgkeller von 1620. Die Entwicklung des Schiffbaus am Reiherstieg. Deichbaus und Deichbrüche mit den großen Fluten 1962 und 1976.

Öffnungszeiten: 1. April bis 31. Oktober - jeden Sonntag 14 - 17 Uhr

Dike construction and breaches with the great floods of 1962 and 1976.
