This annual event is hosted by the Scandia Valley Lions Club and is held at the Scandia Valley Town Hall and Fired Department. Fireworks are the kickoff event, taking place the first Friday of August. Saturday features a craft sale, bake sale, quilt raffle, turkey dinner, ice cream, medical helicopter, street dance and more. Sunday concludes with a pancake breakfast and raffle drawing. The area is in Minnesota's lake country and the population swells in the summer.
