This marker has been damaged since at least 2004. Seems the same as in the write-ups on the geocaching benchmark. "There's about 1/3rd of this one left. The info on it is useless"

"DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1942 IN JOHNSTOWN. AT JOHNSTOWN, 0.5 MILE NORTHWEST ALONG STATE HIGHWAY NO. 29 FROM THE POST OFFICE, AT A Y INTERSECTION OF THE HIGHWAY AND HALL AVENUE, 35 FEET WEST OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE AVENUE, 30 FEET NORTHEAST OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE HIGHWAY, 12 FEET NORTHEAST OF A POWER LINE POLE, AND 3 FEET NORTHWEST OF A SIGN POINTING TO THE BARONIAL HOME OF SIR WILLIAM JOHNSON. A DISK, SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST PROJECTING ABOUT 3 INCHES ABOVE THE GROUND."
