This adorable sculpture of a boy and his dog fishing is located at the NW side of Theta Pond. The young boy is sitting upright on the stump, with his dog laying down at his side. The boy's legs are crossed at the ankles, with his left hand holding the fishing pole and his right hand resting on top of the dog. He wears a ballcap with the word "Pokes" on the front.
The stump the two sit on is about 4' high. At the end of the fishing pole is a wooden fish.
Theta Pond is one of the most recognizable locations on the OSU Campus, so this is a great location for a fishing-themed sculpture. There are bridges across the water, lots of shade trees, ducks, and benches.
