The memorial is a light, gray slab of granite with text on just one side, and angled at the top to come to a point. Above the text are the emblems of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the organizations who placed the memorial.

Description of Memorial:
Nocona Cemetery is a large cemetery, approaching 5800 burials, dating at least into the 1880s, located west of Nocona. Notable burials here include H.J. Justin, the founder of what we know as "Justin Boots"; Enid Justin, his daughter, who made a name for herself with the Nocona Boots brand; and rodeo star, Ruth Roach Salmon.
