This is a two-story frame home with overlapping wood siding. The roof is double hipped and has a low dormer on three sides. The covered entrance is just left of center and has a wood door with sidelights. Three Tuscan columns are located on this facade. Above the entrance on the second floor is a window with a railed bracketed double window, flanked by two bay windows. The windows are a combination of one-over-one and fixed.
The home was built by Marshall Edwards, a banker and oil and gas man, in 1908. It was later occupied by Dr. W. C. Whittenbrg, and int he 1920's housed a fraternity and a sorority. James E. Berry purchased the house in 1926 and the home continues to be in the Berry family. James Berry was Oklahoma Lt. Governor in 1934 and entertained with parties in this home during his tenure.
The house was placed on the National Registry in 1980.
