Text on sign at the Labyrinth:
The Labyrinth
Labyrinths have existed for over 4,000 years and are found in every culture in every time, and virtually every religion. Walking through the labyrinth is a type of meditation; however, it is not a maze. There are no dead ends and you cannot get lost. The journey represents the journey of life - ever twisting and turning. Trust in the journey and you will arrive at the center and return to the outside world along the same winding path. This labyrinth is a classic seventh circuit design formed by carving a path through the Oklahoma landscape.
As you walk, you may decide to pause here and there along the path or in the center. The walk is yours. There is no right or wrong way to walk a labyrinth - no expected or prescribed outcome. You will bring your own journey to the labyrinth and leave with your own perceptions of your time spent.
We wish you well.
