Le premier révérend anglican arrive à Coaticook en 1962. À ce moment, il y a six familles de cette confession à Coaticook. Elles versent chacune 200$ et un montant supplémentaire de 1000$ provenant des États-Unis permet la construction d'une église en 1863. À ce moment, cette église est située sur la rue Norton et porte le nom de St-Stephen. Elle est agrandie en 1874 et 1885. C'est seulement en 1907-1908 que 8000$ sont investis pour construire l'église actuelle située sur la rue Cutting à l'intersection de la rue Gérin-Lajoie.

The first Anglican reverend came to Coaticook in 1862.
