This school building was built in 1908 and was designed by renowned school architect William B. Ittner. The building is in a Craftsman style in a modified version of the his U plan, which is bent to resemble an L-shaped to follow the lot lines. The building is brick two story building with tile roof and has an attached one story octagonal shaped kindergarten. The building has been vacant for many years and is listed as one of the most endangered St. Louis City Landmarks and in 2000 was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
