A low memorial obelisk placed in 2014 to mark the centenery of WWI. Teigh is known as a 'Thankful Village' that did not lose a member of the community in the First World War.

"There are no settlements in Scotland or Northern Ireland that did not lose a member of the community in the First World War. In England and Wales there are 52, known as Thankful Villages. And Teigh in Rutland is one of them ( visit link) . [The memorial is a] low obelisk and sundial [missing] that was erected in 2014 to mark this fact.
