This flag pole is a millennial memorial at the turn of the century (2000), and the base is dedicated bricks to help pay for the memorial


"On Thursday, May 3 the annual National Day of Prayer was held as community and church leaders along with residents prayed at the four-way stop near the flag pole in Elsberry. Later that evening at First Baptist Church in Elsberry a special prayer event was held with speakers from area churches." ~ Elsberry Democrat, May 9, 2018
