"Canadian geese. the most widespread and commonly seen goose. it's habitat include lakes, rivers and marshes. It often feeds in open grassland and stubble fields. They eat submerged vegetation, grasses, winter wheat, clover and waste grain. Once know as mainly and wilderness bird, the honker is adapting to lie on golf courses and city parks. Northern wild flocks still migrate by flying in lines and very recognizable V formation."
