Na pietním území v Lidicích byla 20. kvetna 2016 odhalena replika pomníku obetem první svetové války. Originál monumentu, který stával ve starých Lidicích, byl v roce 1942 znicen a celá vesnice byla nacisty zborena a srovnána se zemí.
Na prední strane se nachází deska se jmény 16 padlých obcanu a venováním, které je totožné s originálem.

In the memorial area of Lidice, on May 20, 2016 a replica of the monument to the victims of the World War I was revealed. The original monument that stood in the old Lidice was destroyed in 1942 and the whole village was demolished and razed to the ground by the Nazis. On the front is a commemorative plaque with the names of 16 fallen citizens and a dedication that is identical to the original one.
Preserved text of dedication:
"For the eternal memory of those who have sacrificed their lives, the happiness of their families, for freedom, for the country in 1914-1918."
