Am Wanderparkplatz "Steinbruch" an der Landstraße L113 im Rheinbacher Wald stehen drei Informationstafeln, die auf die Flora und Fauna des nahegelegenen Inselweihers eingehen:
  • "Lebensgemeinschaft Wald": Das Zusammenspiel von Flora und Fauna und die Wichtigkeit der Artenvielfalt werden hier thematisiert.
  • "Einheimische Singvögel": Eine bebilderte Übersicht über hier heimische Singvögel.
  • "Leben am und im Weiher": Eine Übersicht über die wichtigsten Tiere, die im Inselweiher leben oder in direktem Zusammenhang mit dem Weiher stehen.
At the hikers' parking lot "Steinbruch" on the L113 road in the forest of Rheinbach there are three information signs that deal with the flora and fauna of the nearby pond Inselweiher:
  • "Forest community": The interaction of flora and fauna and the importance of biodiversity are discussed here.
  • "Native songbirds": An illustrated survey of local songbirds.
  • "Living on and in the pond": An overview of the most important animals that live in the pond or are directly related to the pond.
