The former Bank of Australasia was built in 1879 and ceased being used fro that purpose in 1943, later the building was used as a restaurant and B & B accomodation.
The former Bank of Australasia comprises a banking chamber and an attached residence. The single-storey brick building is designed in a conservative classical style with a three-bay facade with round-headed openings with prominent keystones contained within the bays, with the entrance located at one end.
