Although there are other items on Primanti's menu, if you go and don't order the Almost Famous Pitts-burger and cheese Sandwich at least once, you haven't fulfilled Patricia Shultz's reason for including Primanti's in her book. Besides the burger and cheese on thick sliced Italian bread, the sandwich is topped with french fries, cole slaw and tomatoes and stands about six inches tall. Yummy!
After you have eaten yourself silly, then walk around the Strip to work it off. The Strip is filled with lots of interesting little shops, many of them dealing in Pittsburgh Steelers clothing and souvenirs. Spend a perfect Pittsburgh type day.
