The clock design includes rather faint black 1-, 5- & 15-minute markers around the edge with Roman numerals also in black (another exammple of "IV" instead of the more common "IIII" for four o'clock). The centre of the clock face bears the name "Clock House".

The building comprises a block of four privately owned garages with a small room above the centre, on which the clock is mounted.
